This Viognier wine, sourced from one of the oldest vineyards in Washington State (Morrison Lane), was aged in French oak for 12 months prior to bottling. This shows some really nice aromatic range as it begins with aromatics of lychee, fire roasted pineapple, and baked New York apple with wild mushroom accents. On the mid-palate there is lovely weight and texture, leading to flavors of lychee, crème brûlée, vanilla, crushed wildflowers and a long creamy finish. This shows nice poise considering the warm vintage. (Best 2017-2023) - January, 2017 (OB)
