The 2014 Red Mountain Reserve is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Merlot that was aged for 23 months in 40% new French oak. Sourced from the Artz Vineyard this wine begins with bright aromatics of coffee grounds, blackberry cobbler and sagebrush. Blackberry cobbler, crushed mint, green peppercorn and crème de cassis flavors impress. The weight and minerality are fantastic. (Best 2017-2030) - November, 2017 (OB)
