HOLOCENE Pinot Gris, Oregon 2020

An interesting Pinot Gris that displays a strawberry color in the bottle which made me realize that I had no idea that you could get that type of color extracted from Pinot Gris grapes. Unique aromas of wild strawberry, orange blossom, fresh apricot, peach skin, toasted almond, dried thyme, and a dusty country road merge together on the nose. The palate is rich and stone-fruit-driven with a scorched herb finish. Mouthwatering acidity, a full body, and a long finish complete the wine. 150 cases made.
