SUNU Pinot Noir, Oregon ‘Lazy River’ 2019

The Lazy River Pinot Noir from Sunu seems 33% whole cluster during fermentation, and then it’s aged for 16 months in 25% new French oak. Macerated strawberry, violet flower, cherry cola, fresh pine nut, graphite, and toasty clove are all present. On the palate, you are greeted with raised levels of acidity, integrated tannins, and a very red-fruit-forward finish. Drink now or over the next 6 years. $75
