The Lonesome Rock also sees 33% whole cluster during ferment and is aged for 16% months in 25% new French oak, this elegant and pretty but also bold Pinot Noir is blue-fruit driven, with toasted baking spices, pencil shavings, ground mocha powder, new leather, and just a hint of tangerine zest all present on the nose and on the palate. Acid, tannins, structure, and body are all in check and welcomely balanced. A small production of 40 cases was produced.
