The 2021 Rockbar Syrah from Martin Woods sports a medium ruby-purple core with a lighter purple rim. It’s made in a lighter style than most of the Rock’s Syrah, and I love it. Notes of boysenberry, black cherries, fresh linens, and black olive alongside shades of white pepper and grated clove. Lush tannins form the backbone of the wine, which I highly recommend.
