A lovely colored core of medium blue-ruby, that moves to a neon pink rim, the 2019 Chehalem Mountain Pinot Noir boasts aromas and flavors of black raspberry, dark cherry, hoison sauce, dried violet flower, crushed pink peppercorn, and some charcuterie characteristics. It’s aged for 10 months in 38% new, 23% 1-year, and 39% neutral French oak barrels which gives it that lovely sweet spice note on the back palate. Perfect levels of acidity combine with the crunchy tannin, and medium-body, earth-driven finish. 310 cases produced.
