ALLORO VINEYARD Chardonnay, Chehalem Mountains ‘Estate’ 2020

Showcasing a medium-gold core with a silvery rim in the glass, it starts off a tad shy on the nose which progresses to notes of dried lemon peel, roasted pear, honeysuckle, juicy fruit gum, fresh sea breeze, raw hazelnut, and dried mountain herbs. Acidity checks in on the medium-high side, while the body is rounded and full. It’s a very well-made Chardonnay and the first that I have had from this estate. Only 290 cases were made.
