Bergstorm has been farming from the Silice Vineyard for the past 14 years, and is a mélange of 26 different Pinot Noir and Chardonnay clonal blocks. This Pinot Noir underwent whole cluster fermentation prior to bottling and it begins with pretty aromas of red cherries, thyme and cigar box. The palate is lithe, as the wine reveals a soft, beautiful texture. The flavor profile of red berries, forest floor and suggestions of baking spices all mingle nicely. This is another outstanding wine by Bergstrom in this warm vintage.
