Sourced from the Kitze Family Vineyard, this excellent bottling is a blend of Grenache (33%), Syrah (33%), and Mourvèdre (34%). This opens with aromatics of smoked meats, bacon fat, creosote and hunts if salted pomegranate. Feminine and sexy, there are flavors of pomegranate, red cherry and bacon fat. This is an outstanding effort by head winemaker Seth Kitze. (Best 2017-2025) - May, 2017 (OB)
