This exciting Chardonnay was aged for 17 months in 33% new French oak prior to bottling.. Nutmeg, brioche and roasted hazelnut with Pazzaz apple mark the nose. The mouthfeel here is really gorgeous. The palate shows a nice combination of weight and tension, as Meyer lemon cream, green apple and kumquat flavors beautifully mingle with the dazzling minerality. Bright, rich and downright delicious, this awesome effort by superstar winemaker, Tony Rynders, will cellar well for a decade or more. Only 77 cases made of this delicious Chardonnay.
