This Dundee Hills AVA Pinot Noir was aged in 35% new French oak for eight months prior to bottling. The balance is really nice as the wine showcases a nice combination of dark and red fruits with a touch of peat moss. It starts off with aromatics reminiscent of teaberry, red currant and red cherry candy. Lithe and delicious the wine shows off red cherry, loganberry preserves and wild mushroom flavors. This has the tension to cellar well over the next decade.
