The 2015 Zephirine is a special cuvée by Roserock and winemaker Veronique Drouhin, sourced from the estate’s 35 blocks, which are handpicked, sorted and individually fermented. As this refined Pinot Noir slowly begins to unwind, it releases pretty aromas of dark fruits and earthy tones playing in the foreground. The palate is lithe, rich and mineral driven, showing a wonderful earthy character, with stony undertones to this wine that show beautiful terroir. This is an outstanding effort in this vintage, which posseses the tension and weight to cellar for quite some time.
