The 2017 'Grand Assemblage' is a fantastic Pinot Noir from Dobbes. On the nose this takes on smoky undertones that combine with dark fruits, white truffle and citrus rind accents. The palate reveals a wonderful texture and richness, with excellent energy and verve. Dark fruits mingle with the earthy tones and wonderful sense of minerality. Delicious now, and should continue to cellar well over the next decade.
