The 2016 Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir is an absolutely fantastic release from Domaine Serene. It begins with bright aromas of fresh red berries, strawberries along with guava, citrus zest and a stony character which all mingle together on this expressive nose. The texture is marvelous, showing intense red fruits and shades of blood orange, damp earth and dusty terroir that all fill the palate. Seductive and deep in its youth, this will only continue to become more compelling as it evolves in the cellar over the course of the next decade.
