The Ribbon Ridge Estate Chardonnay is another highly polished wine made by winemaker James Frey. The nose shows lovely earthy tones that combine with citrus rind and wet stone aromatics. Lithe and light on its feet, the wine offers an inviting texture that melds together with bright orchard and citrus fruit flavors with wet stone and shades of honeydew melon The exceedingly long finish lingers. A delight to savor right now, however this should also evolve well over the next decade.
