Jessie Vineyard is eastern-facing, and ranges in elevation from 320 feet to 550 feet and it is densely planted on one of the steepest slopes in Oregon, and the most challenging to farm on the Cristom Estate. The 2017 Pinot Noir is simply fabulous, showing bright aromas of tart cranberry and red cherries that mingle with peat moss and wet stone tones. Beautifully balanced with a silky texture that glides seamlessly across the palate leaving behind flavors of bright red fruits and minerals . While remarkable now, this gorgeous Pinot Noir should continue to evolve well for the next fifteen years.
