The 2018 Freedom Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir is a fantastic release from St. Innocent. The wine starts by showing off wonderful red fruit profile along with an earthy character with nuances of fresh sage, dark soil, dark berries and florals notes all connecting beautifully. The palate is elegant and extremely inviting, delivering delicious flavors of red berries, red currants, blood orange and dried herbal undertones which all continue to flow through beautifully into the long finish. This already sensational, but it will ultimately benefit from a few years of cellaring and go on to drink marvelously for well for over a decade.
