A solid Pinot Noir from Penner-Ash that takes fruit from five sub-AVAs to create a wine that is rich, decadent and complex. It spends 10 months in 54% new French oak and displays aromas of black plum, black cherry, melted dark chocolate, old leather and toasted cinnamon powder. The palate is much the same with medium to high levels of acidity and smooth tannins. On the back palate, a wet earth component delivers a slightly bitter finish. 5580 cases produced.
