Aged for 17 months in barrel, this smokey and rich Pinot Noir that is made exclusively for Michael Jordan, hence the name Barrel “23”. Dark red cherry, black plum, boysenberry, smoked herbs, black tea and a hint of cherry cola are all present. A blue-fruit but savory palate, brings flavors of blueberry pie, dried thyme, and some meaty tones. Medium high acidity, chalky tannins and a lengthy finish complete the wine. Give this another 2 years in bottle and then enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Only 50 cases produced.
