Another great effort from the Lingua Franca team to produce a Pinot Noir during a vintage that most winemakers didn’t even try. The ‘Estate’ comes from the vineyards surrounding the winery and delivers notes of black cherry, sea-salt caramel, macerated strawberry, tobacco leaf, and scorched dried herbs. The palate is much leaner than the nose, with high levels of acidity, medium tannins, and just a hint of scorched earth. Drink now.
