Typically reserved only for wine club members with only 3 barrels produced, this wine is also aged for 10 months sur lie in 600-liter neutral puncheons. The nose is stunning - Meyer lemon, yellow nectarine, honey-coated pear, creme brulee, and a hint of scorched mountain sage. It’s one of those wines where you sit for 30 minutes thinking about what is in the glass before you taste it. The palate is fruit-forward, acid-driven, and produces a finish that lasts for minutes. It’s round and full on the palate but not overpowering in the slightest. One of the best 2020 Chardonnays I have experienced so far. This will evolve nicely over the next 15 years. Highly recommended.
