LINGUA FRANCA Chardonnay, Willamette Valley ‘Chers Amis’ 2020

A bit more shy on the nose than the ‘Sisters’ Chardonnay, this Chardonnay was aged for 10 months sur lie in 600-liter neutral puncheons. Lemondrop candy, lime zest, fresh nectarine, hazelnut, freshly struck flint, honeysuckle, and honeydew melon combines to craft a spectacular bottle of wine and showcases what Oregon can do to compete on the world stage. Mouthwatering acidity and a medium to full body bring focus and attention to the fruity and somewhat herbal finish.
