Aged for 16 months in 33% new French oak with 15% whole cluster this limited-edition Pinot Noir from Argyle showcases one winemaker who hand-selects a small portion of their vineyard to showcase the best of their grapes. The nose pops with aromas of red rose petal, red cherry, strawberry candy, pencil shavings, and cedary herbs. Much of the same is on the palate with added flavors of black tea, cinnamon, and a saline finish. Wonderfully balanced and absolutely delicious.
