Another stunner of a Pinot Noir from Evesham Wood, the 2019 Mahonia is aged for 20 months in just 15% new French oak. Fresh and elegant on the nose with aromas of red cherry, red plum flesh, honeysuckle, freshly ground cinnamon stick, and just a hint of wet earth developing as a tertiary characteristic. The palate brings vibrant acidity, fresh red-fruit flavors, wet stone minerality, and a precise and focused herbal finish. A small production of 25 cases were produced.
