LEMELSON Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Jerome Reserve’ 2018

Fermented with about 15% whole cluster and aged for 16 months in ½ new French oak and ½ once-used French oak barrels, the 2018 Jerome Reserve opens with notes of freshly cut hay, blue spiced plums, dark cherry, a touch of tobacco leaf, raw pine nut, dusty herbs, and just a hint of smoked meat. Scrumptious acidity, rounded tannins, a full body mouthfeel all combine wonderfully to create a spicy, blue-fruited finish. Just 369 cases made.
