TENDRIL Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Extrovert’ 2018

Resting 16 months in French oak barrels, the 2018 Extrovert develops a deep magenta core with a purple rim in the glass, and presents notes of spice cake, black cherry, red plum, dusty country road, and just a tad of sweet tobacco leaf. Tannins are grippy while the acidity is on the high side, leading to a blue-fruit and savory finish on the mid-palate. Just 230 cases made.
