The grapes (Wadenswil clones from some of the oldest own-rooted vines in the valley) were fully destemmed, fermented for 14 days, and then aged in 30% new French oak barrels. Presenting medium ruby with a neon rim, it gifts aspects of boysenberry, black cherry, white pepper, wet earth, cherry cola, and dried red rose petal are all present. Elevated acidity, crunchy tannins, and a fruit and spice-driven finish complete the wine. Only 115 cases were produced.
