Medium ruby core with an orange rim in the glass, the 2019 Volcanic lives up to its name with aromas of crushed volcanic stone, black peppercorn, wet autumn leaves, black cherry, and macerated strawberry aromas that jump from the glass. The palate is much like the nose, with flavors of red fruits, sweet baking spice, and additional characteristics of tobacco leaf and lemony herbs.
