This stunning Pinot Noir from Lavinea coming from the Tualatin Estate sees 20% new French oak during fermentation and displays a medium brick-ruby core with a watery rim. It’s complex on the nose and on the palate. Notes of black cherry, blood orange peel, cocoa nibs, forest mushroom, pencil shavings, and red licorice pop out of the glass. Heightened acidity, medium grippy tannins, and an earthy and blue-fruited finish conclude the wine. Only 216 cases were made of this interesting Pinot Noir.
