Cristom’s 2020 Pinot Noir has all been declassified down to the Willamette Valley level because of a difficult vintage in the valley. They were able to produce a lovely wine that is a touch out of balance but still very drinkable and delicious. Aggressive acidity meets low levels of tannin and flavors of bright red raspberry, underripe strawberry, scorched cedary herbs, and sweet barrel spices. Drink this one now and enjoy it with a bit of a chill on the wine.
