Starting off a bit flinty and reductive on the nose, which I adore in my Chardonnays, it displays a lovely medium lemon with a golden core in the glass. The nose pops with lemon-lime and fresh floral notes, while the palate brings flavors of yellow apple, ripe peach, and dried sage. I loved the mineral and fresh stone aspects on the mid-palate. It’s medium to full-bodied and features wonderful acidity and an interesting herbal aspect on the back of the palate. About 2000 cases were made.
