I adored the 2019 Freedom Hill Pinot Blanc from Ken Wright, which I believe is the first Blanc I’ve tasted of his. Notes of honey-coated pear, red plum flesh, fresh white flower petal, dried sagebrush, and bitter herbs form the core alongside high acidity, a medium body, and a finish that gifts lovely bitter herbs on the back palate.
