ANTICA TERRA Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Botanica’ 2019

The 2019 Botanica from Antica Terra is much richer, spicier, and more herbal on the nose than the Ceras. An eye-popping neon glimmering ruby core, with a neon pink rim in the glass, it boasts notes and flavors of spiced wild blueberry, mountain huckleberry, toasted cedary herbs, powdered graphite, blood orange zest, and a smooch of wet earth. Resting for 19 months in approximately 38% new French oak, it finishes with rounded but luscious acidity, sweet tannins, and a lengthy rich finish. 450 cases were made.
