Displaying a neon ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass, the 2019 Luminous Hills Pinot Noir is another masterclass in Oregon winemaking. This one is a bit richer, deeper, and more sturdy and tannic than its siblings, and it’s an impressive bottle. Aromas and flavors of wild mountain blueberry, spiced red plum, black cherry essence, eucalyptus, dried sage, and crushed wet volcanic stone combine wonderfully in the glass. Yummy acidity, scrumptious earth and spice tones, and a medium to full body complete the wine. Only 211 cases were crafted. Highly recommended.
