AUDEANT Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Nysa Vineyard’ 2019

The 2019 Nysa Vineyard Pinot Noir from Audeant is an absolute treat and presents a glowing medium ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass. Starting off reductive on the nose (which I personally love) it takes some time in the glass to blow off, but after it does, you are gifted with notes of fresh boysenberry, spiced blue plum, crushed volcanic stones, brown mushroom, earthy pine forest, Meyer lemon pith, and some chocolatey tones. Wonderfully balanced with silky smooth tannins, mouthwatering acidity that doesn’t overpower, and a medium to full mouthfeel completes this stunning wine. Only 181 cases produced. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
