The 2019 Ken Evenstad Commerative Cuvée by Domaine Serene is a lovely, black-fruit and spice-driven Pinot Noir that gifts a lovely medium to dark garnet and ruby core with a blueish rim. Notes of crushed wild huckleberry, spiced red plum, Blood orange, whole white peppercorn, pine forest breeze, exotic spices, and fresh violet spill from the glass. The palate combines perfect levels of acidity, sweet chalky tannins, and a finish that goes on for minutes. Enjoy this one now with a heavy decant or over the next 10 years.
