CHEHALEM Pinot Noir, Stoller Vineyard 2012

From the Dundee Hills, this wine saw a year in 50% new oak. It was bottled nearly two years ago, so it has had some time to settle. The wine opens with a perfumed nose with red cherry, red currant, raspberry and rose petals. From an esteemed vintage that's indicative of the depth in the wine. Velvety mouthfeel with light tannins. Lush palate with rich acidity brings flavors of cran-cherry, mushroom, and raspberry with a long finish that lingers. (OB) (Best 2015-2022) - August, 2015 (OB)
