ST. INNOCENT Pinot Noir, Justice Vineyard 2013

This wine comes from the Justice Vineyard, located just over the east ridge of the Eola-Amity Hills just south of Bethel Heights Winery at 500 feet. This is a 291 case production wine. There are aromatics of red cherry, red raspberry and dill, as well as thyme. There are flavors of guava, cranberry, Shitake mushroom orange rind and red cherry. This is lithe and delicious wine, that has a Burgundian feel, albeit a bit lean. It will continue to develop in the bottle. (Best 2017-2027) - January, 2015 (OB)
