BENTON LANE Pinot Noir 'Estate' 2013

Low alcohol, weighing in at only 13.4%, Benton Lane harvested a third of their Pinot clusters before the rains came during September. This wine begins with aromas red cherry red raspberry and a sage edge. There are flavors of black cherry, anise, sage and red cherry with vanilla. This is an outstanding effort and value from this vintage that displays a wonderful range of flavors and aromatics. (Best 2016-2024) - February, 2016 (OB)
