SCOTT PAUL Pinot Noir, Azana Vineyard 2013

The Azana vineyard is located on the Dundee Hills and is set on an elevation of 750 feet. It is known for its Jory soil and strong volcanic influence. The Pinot Noir was aged in French oak for 10 months in a mix of once-used and neutral barrels. It has aromas of wet rock, iron, red cherry and lavender. Flavors of red cherry, cran pomegranate, red raspberry and dill lead to a smooth mouthfeel. Feminine style Pinot here. (Best 2016-2024) - February, 2016 (OB)
