ARGYLE Brut Rosé 2012

The 2012 Brut Rose by Argyle is another gorgeous release from this estate and head winemaker Nate Klostermann. Argyle sourced this wine from the Knudsen Vineyards, as well as the Spirit Hill Vineyard. This wine is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay that weighs in at 12.5% alcohol and comes from a spectacular vintage for Pinot Noir. This gorgeous salmon-colored wine begins with aromatics reminiscent of tangerine rind, cran-raspberry and guava. There are flavors of blood orange, Meyer lemon, cranberry and freshly baked biscuits. The Rose is balanced and lithe wine with a lingering finish. (Best 2016-2025) - April, 2016 (OB)
