Arterberry Maresh has gained a national reputation for exceptional Oregon Pinot Noir and this bottling is no exception. The Pinot Noir has utilized 65% and 35% Pommard and Wadenswil clone, which was some of the oldest plantings in the entire valley. This was aged 22 months in used oak prior to bottling. This rich yet elegant wine begins with red cherries, red raspberry, guava and cloves. There are bright flavors of red cherry, cola, cran-raspberry and teaberry. The minerality in this Pinot Noir is exceptional and I expect to see this continue to show well over the next decade. (Best 2016-2026) - September, 2016 (OB)
