The 2008 Arterberry Maresh 'Juliard Vineyard' Pinot Noir is showing incredibly well at this juncture in its drinking window. Sourced from Pommard clone fruit from vines planted in 1988 and 1976, the wine captures the characteristics of the vintage. This perfumed wine opens with gorgeous aromas of rose petals, red cherries, red raspberry, and hints of cola. On the palate the flavors of cola, cranberry, guava, orange rind and tamarind are concentrated and intense, backed with wonderful minerality. Rivaling the best in Oregon, this is one of the more impressive wines that I have tasted from this esteemed vintage (Best 2016-2026) - September, 2016 (OB)
