Walnut City Wineworks have crafted a really exceptional Pinot Noir in this warm vintage. This wine begins with a bouquet of leather, red cherry, black olive and sage accents with hints of smoke. There are ripe flavors of black cherry, black raspberry, black tea and guava purée. This Pinot Noir improves with a few hours of air contact, as the mid-palate viscosity becomes quite appealing with some patience. (Best 2017-2024) - February, 2017 (OB)
