Initially rather aromatically reticent and following a two hour decant the 2014 Dobbes Family Estate 'Patricia's Cuvee' Pinot Noir emerges out of its slumber with with ripe aromatics of black cherry, black tea, pomegranate seed, and black truffle. There are rich flavors of black cherry, black tea, wild blackberry jam, and huckleberry jam with orange zest accents. This use wonderful mid-palate weight and is impossible to resist right now.
