LEMELSON Pinot Noir 'Jerome Reserve' 2014

The 2014 Lemelson 'Jerome Reserve' Pinot Noir is a gorgeous release from this estate. This solid wine which was released in January 2017 is a blend of Wadenswil, Pommard and Dijon 777 clones which were largely sourced from the Stermer Vineyard.  This Pinot Noir opens with aromatics of smoked meats, black olive, wild blackberry jam and suggestions of black tea. There are ripe flavors reminiscent of black cherry, black raspberry liquor, Shitake mushroom, and baking spices. This shows wonderful weight and intensity as this excellent Pinot wine will cellar well into the next decade. (Best 2017-2027) - April, 2017 (OB)
