BRITTAN VINEYARDS Pinot Noir 'Cygnus Block' 2014

The 2014 Cygnus Block is an exceptional Pinot Noir sourced from a block that is set on intrusion basalt and is sloped east. The block is planted to Swan selection, 420A. The 2014 'Cygnus Block' is an immense wine made by the talented hands of winemaker Robert Brittan. This gorgeous Pinot Noir wine begins with aromatics of pine needles, forest floor, volcanic rock, lemon zest, wild blackberry and black truffle oil. This leads to deep and penetrating flavors of black cherry, black raspberry torte, red currant, lemon oil and crushed gravel. This has immense range and acidity as this gorgeous wine will cellar brilliantly for more than a decade. (Best 2017-2030) - June, 2017 (OB)
