Contrary to the name, this is serious wine made by winemaker Tony Rynders that exudes value. Black fruits come to prominence on the nose with black tea and forest floor accents. This has wonderful weight and poise showing dark cherry, sandalwood and peat moss flavors with just a touch of citrus rind towards the back end. Delicious and somewhat tightly wound out of the gate, be sure to allow this some air contact.
