Talisman's Destein Vineyard Pinot Noir opens with bright black cherry and raspberry liquor and pomegranate, alongside some hints of forest floor, mint and vanilla blossom on the nose. The texture is silky smooth with flavors of exotic spices alongside lots of red and dark fruits that all come together with minerals and earthy undertones. While beautiful in its youth, this still has a decade or more to go. Limited release, only 50 cases made.
